As summer brings us those long sunshine-filled days, Utah Film Center is excited to announce the return of its Free Outdoor Summer Film Series at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. Pull out your favorite blanket, grab those delicious treats, and enjoy the long-awaited soft warm breezes of a perfect Utah summer night.

Marcel The Shell With Shoes On 

Marcel is an adorable one-inch-tall shell who ekes out a colorful existence with his grandmother Connie and their pet lint, Alan. Once part of a sprawling community of shells, they now live alone as the sole survivors of a mysterious tragedy. When a documentary filmmaker discovers them amongst the clutter of his Airbnb, he posts a short film online and brings Marcel millions of passionate fans, as well as unprecedented dangers and a new hope at finding his long-lost family.

Outdoor Film Series takes place on the east side of Liberty Park, just north of the Chase Home Museum near the middle of the park.
