Free Health Screening & Assessment
National Institutes of Health - All of Us Journey is an initiative to gather data for future health studies
The YMCA Community Family Center will hosting an event for the NIH (National Institutes of Health) All of Us Journey. This is a national research study aimed at extending precision medicine to improve prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, as well as increasing diversity in medical studies.
Participants will be asked to provide information about their health, bodily measurements and bio-samples. The process should take about 45 minutes. To save time, participants may preregister at https://www.joinallofus.org/en/get-started-step1.
This is a great opportunity to get a free health screening & learn more about your own health risks. Breakfast or lunch will be provided to participants. Any adult is welcome to participate! The All of Us mobile unit will be at the YMCA Community Family Center. located at 4223 Atherton Drive (corner of 4200 S. 1600 W.), for the following dates:
Tuesday, November 6th - 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 7th - 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, November 8th - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, November 9th - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
