Costumed pioneer re-enactors will teach you how to make corn husk dolls and play pioneer games like graces, button spinner and trundling hoops. Taylorsville community members Keith and Renee Sorensen will be honored for their contribution in modern day pioneering. And then, Utah’s pioneer band, Willingly, led by Clive Romney, will present “Utah history made delicious!“ In this 45-minute celebration of story and music, you’ll learn how Utah’s unique geography and inhabitants have influenced its history.
