Meet your candidates for Taylorsville City Council, Oct. 3

Sep 09, 2019 05:00PM ● By Justin Adams
If you've somehow missed all the campaign signs, 2019 is a municipal election year. Utah residents will have the chance to elect their local city council representatives. Being informed about the various candidates' positions is crucial because local government impacts people's daily lives as much as any other level of government, from land-use decisions and police, to parks and water.

Residents of Taylorsville will have a chance to meet those wishing to become their representatives on the Taylorsville City Council at a "Meet the Candidates" night. This year, there are three seats up for election (though in one, an incumbent candidate is running unopposed).

The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Taylorsville City Hall. It is being co-sponsored by the Taylorsville Exchange Club and ChamberWest.
