The City of Taylorsville is prepared for the upcoming snowstorms. We contract with Salt Lake County Public Works Department for roadway snow removal and road maintenance services. The Public Works Department has implemented two additional strategies to help keep roadways safe. 

First, a liquid salt brine solution is now being used for anti-icing that will be distributed from saddle tanks on the snow plows. Second, the snow plows have added wing blades so Taylorsville streets can be plowed two lanes at a time, which will save time in the snow removal operation. Residents - Please do your part to help keep efficiency up and costs down by adhering to the city ordinance regarding winter parking.
