There are some big and some small changes and improvements this year. Check them out for yourself.

Alta regraded its popular Corkscrew  run. Now it's possible for intermediates to have a wide open run from the top of Collins lift down to the base of Wildcat lift.

Deer Valley opened the Brass Tag restaurant with comfort food and brick oven cuisine. It's located in the base area, which is convenient to skiers and non skiers. Meet friends for lunch. And just in case you missed it. Deer Valley bought Solitude and will take over its management next season.

Brian Head in southern Utah replace its Giant Steps lift which will reduce the ride time from 12 to just 5 minutes.

Cherry Peak is Utah's newest resort bringing the count to 15. It's close to the northern Utah border and is scheduled to open mid December. It has three chairlifts, a 500 foot long (that's long) magic carpet for learners, five tubing lanes, ice skating, night skiing and mountain biking.

Eagle Point near Beaver put in a new surface lift to access advanced and expert terrain. No more hiking.

Nordic Valley near Ogden upgraded trails and its popular Barn. Nordic Valley has had an identity crisis over the years. Its name changed from Nordic Valley to Wolf Mountain Utah, and now it's back to Nordic Valley. Same mountain, nice upgrades.

In addition, Vail bought Park City Mountain Resort which joins other Vail-owned resorts including Canyons.
